Renewing your policy

Your WorkCover accident insurance policy covers you in financial year periods. Each new financial year, we renew every accident insurance policy in Queensland.

Key dates and information.

Declaring wages

To renew your policy we ask you to declare the actual wages paid during the last financial year and the estimated wages you expect to pay in the current financial year.

You’ll receive a wage declaration form by mail or email and you can go online to declare your wages from 1 July.

Once you’ve declared your wages, you can generate your own premium notice or we can send you a premium notice that includes information about how your premium is calculated.

Renew your policy online

Our WorkCover's online services for employers service is a fast and easy way to renew and pay your policy. You can:

  • declare wages
  • view premium notice and certificate of currency
  • pay by credit card or order a direct debit
  • start an interest-free payment plan with a monthly deduction date that suits your business needs.
