Self-insurance guidance administrative fees

Report preparation by the Office of Industrial Relations

As required by the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (schedule 2, part 3, Section 24(2)), the single or group employer must pay the Office of Industrial Relations a fee for preparation of the WHS performance report:

Single employer$1289.00
Group employer$1715.00

This fee is set in accordance with the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 and is subject to increases in line with the consumer price index.

Administration charges for WHS auditor application and accreditation (self-insurance)

Application fee
An application fee is payable to the Office of Industrial Relations to assess applications from prospective WHS auditors (self-insurance). The application fee is not refundable in the event that the application fails to meet the accreditation criteria

Accreditation fee
Once the application has been assessed as successful and all related documentation validated, an accreditation fee is payable by the applicant prior to the issue of certified conditions of appointment and identification card.

Renewal of accreditation fee
Applicants seeking reaccreditation as a WHS auditor (self-insurance) must complete the relevant sections in the application form, demonstrating their capacity to satisfy the eligibility criteria and acceptance of the terms and conditions.
