Give notice to WHSQ for asbestos, demolition and hazardous chemicals

Legislation requires you to notify or give notice to Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) of the following activities:

Asbestos and demolition notifications

A notification must be submitted to WHSQ before certain asbestos and demolition work takes place.

Hazardous chemical notifications

A notification must be submitted regarding the use, handling or storage of hazardous chemicals.
