Fostering a healthy culture

Amy Sproule, Fosters and John Doody, WorkCover

Carlton United Brewers (CUB Yatala) is in the consumer goods manufacturing industry, employing over 300 people. The company prides itself on having a very high return to work rate.

They implement cost effective ways to keep their staff safe at work through innovative programs, including onsite physiotherapy and podiatry treatments. As a result, workers have fewer injuries, thus CUB Yatala have less claims and keep their premium costs down.

Watch 'Fostering a healthy culture' and see how CUB Yatala makes workplace injury prevention and management central to their operations.

CUB (Yatala Brewery) were winners at the Q-COMP 2011 RTW Awards in the 'Rehabilitation and return to work- small/medium employer' category and finalists in the 'Rehabilitation and return to work coordinator achievement' category.

They were also finalists in the 2010 Return to Work Awards.
