Where to go for help
According to beyondblue, Australian workers expect to be provided with mental health support at work, but around a third of workers don't know whether their employer has resources or where they might go to access them.
There are a range of freely available resources that may help you to manage stress, or create a mentally healthy workplace to help prevent or minimise stress.
In the first instance, it is always best to make use of supports available at your workplace and ask what help is available, by speaking with your manager, a colleague, a health and safety representative, or your human resource department.
