When you love your work and the people you work with, amazing things can happen. Don't just take our word for it though—see what our people are saying about their experience within different parts of the business at WorkCover.
We exist to support what can be a difficult and emotional experience of a work-related injury and are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for both workers and employers. Our Customer Support Representatives work in our contact centre, answering calls from employers and the public about safety, asbestos, workplace injuries and insurance premiums. Our Claims Representatives are the first (and often ongoing) point of contact in the claims process and spend their time determining liability for claims in line with legislation while our Customer Advisors manage a portfolio of customers with a passionate focus on return to work/wellness and relationship management. Our Customer Group also provides a number of leadership opportunities.
Solutions and Technology
Our solutions and technology group work to provide simple and connected digital services for our people and customers. Joining our solutions and technology team is your opportunity to be at the centre of WorkCover's digital transformation, delivering innovative digital solutions through modern technology platforms leading to a better experience for our customers and everyone here at WorkCover. From data lakes to mobile apps and cyber security, our investment in people development provides opportunities for technical specialists as well as transferable skills and multiple career paths.
We offer opportunities across Business Analytics and Insights, Financial and Accounting Services, People and Culture, Learning and Development, Risk and Assurance and Legal. Whether our people are turning data into insights, risk into opportunity or talent into the best they can be, our behind the scenes teams partner with the business to provide advice and support as we work together as one team to exceed our organisational objectives.
Specialising in strategy design and delivery, experience design, communications and stakeholder relations, we are the visionaries, the designers, the story tellers and collaborators, and are passionate about keeping WorkCover Queensland at the forefront of workers’ compensation in Australia.

We partner with PIEF (Personal Injury Education Foundation) to provide industry recognised vocational learning pathways, connect with academic experts for learning programs and have tertiary study assistance pathways available for every role. Whatever profession your role is part of, we support and encourage further study and professional development to help you grow your career.
Being an authentic leader at WorkCover is about having a leadership style that is consistent with your personality and core values, one that is honest, ethical and practical. Our leaders are dedicated to continued personal growth and building lasting relationships to deliver world class outcomes.
We have a progressive approach which recognises that development happens from the moment we identify our emerging leadership talent through to our most experienced senior leaders. We believe leadership development should support our leaders in their day to day activities and continuously grow our effectiveness individually and collectively.
