Website redesign project
Redesigned website coming soon!
We listened and took action.
Announcing the upcoming release of the website, you told us you wanted.
From the feedback received, we redesigned our website with you, the user, in mind.
With a simpler and cleaner layout, it’s easier to:
- find what you’re looking for
- access information that you need
- use on mobile devices
At the same time, it will still contain everything that you have told us you need to know about or access.
Your redesigned site is coming in October 2020.
If you would like to get in touch about the website, please send us a message.
About the project
In 2014 the worksafe.qld.gov.au website was created, to provide a one-stop-shop for safety and workers’ compensation in Queensland. The website brought together content from:
- Workplace Health and Safety Queensland
- WorkCover Queensland
- Electrical Safety Office
- Workers' Compensation Regulator (formerly Q-COMP)
A dedicated phone number 1300 362 128 also replaced the separate numbers for each of these organisations.
In September 2019 the four organisations began work on a project to redesign the worksafe.qld.gov.au website. Our shared goal is to build an improved website that focuses on user needs, makes it easier to find and understand information, and works well across all devices.
The new worksafe.qld.gov.au website will launch in October 2020. Stay tuned for more information.

With a cleaner layout, the site will be simpler to use, navigate and find information that you need when you need it.
A key change for service providers is where you will go to access your section on the website.
