Website redesign project
In 2014 the worksafe.qld.gov.au website was created, to provide a one-stop-shop for safety and workers’ compensation in Queensland. The website brought together content from:
- Workplace Health and Safety Queensland
- WorkCover Queensland
- Electrical Safety Office
- Workers' Compensation Regulator (formerly Q-COMP).
A dedicated phone number 1300 362 128 also replaced the separate numbers for each of these organisations.
In September 2019 the four organisations began work on a project to redesign the worksafe.qld.gov.au website. Our shared goal is to build an improved website that focuses on user needs, makes it easier to find and understand information, and works well across all devices.
The new worksafe.qld.gov.au website will launch in 2020. Stay tuned for more information.
Since the start of the project we have been talking to users to better understand their needs.
Thank you to all those who participated in our recent activity to help us to better organise the content on our website.
We will continue to share progress and updates for future involvement in the website redesign process, here on this page.
