Jen Beveridge

“I hope we can support grieving families by offering any assistance we can.”

Jen Beveridge's husband Sam was killed while working on the Brisbane Airport Link tunnel project in 2011, a week after his fortieth birthday.

Sam’s death affected a wide circle of his family and friends, including Jen, their son (who was eight years old at the time), Sam’s parents, brothers, and their partners and children, and Jen’s family.

Jen became a member of the Consultative committee for work related fatalities and serious incidents to help provide a network for other people who have been affected by a workplace incident or death, to raise awareness of workplace safety, and to remember and provide a voice for Sam.
