Working with our stakeholders

The Office of Industrial Relations offers a range of educational and online services for industry professionals. Our regular free webinars offer professional advice and practical solutions from experts about common return to work issues, which can be viewed from the convenience of your own desk.

We also offer annual professional development conferences for employers and return to work coordinators in North Queensland and Brisbane through which delegates may learn more about current workers’ compensation matters and hear from industry professional guest speakers. We also produce short educational films, fact sheets and guidelines to assist employers achieve best practice return to work.

The Office of Industrial Relations is also responsible for maintaining and delivering training and resources to medical practitioners for the Guidelines for Evaluation of Permanent Impairment.
