Improving service to injured workers

The Office of Industrial Relations is committed to listening to our customers and ensuring they receive a high quality, professional service that aligns with our values.

Of the 90,000 workers’ compensation claims lodged in Queensland every year, only 3% are disputed and reviewed by us. This is the lowest dispute rate in the country (National average is 5%).

Queensland has the quickest dispute resolution timeframes in the country:

  • Queensland - 88% resolved in 3 months.
  • National average - 49% resolved in 3 months

We continue to improve the way we do business to make this process even faster for review applicants.
